My rear seat pole stuck on my Puma, so I got my big strong son to manually twist it enough to squirt some WD-40 around the pole. I let it set for a while, and then put down a thin piece of plywood and used a small pry-bar (e.g. small crow bar) and worked my way 360 degrees with it until I got it up about 1/2″ or so. Spray more WD-40 and she finally twisted out by hand. I went to my wire brush grinder wheel and gave it a shine, and it was okay after that. When they get wet or sit for awhile, they get mung on them and they stick…Gary Hollander
