We have a P2 with a Yamaha 200 SHO on a 8″ manual slidemaster jackplate. The side rails on the jackplate are eve at the top as delivered from BCB. Can anyone tell me what height you are at to get the best performance?
All boats are different. Raise plate to get maximum speed. Lower plate to reduce steering torque.
Thank you Phil, in your experience, what kind of increments would you raise the motor in?
1/8th inch to 1/4 inch increments.
