I have not heard much on the New Talon set up . Whats the deal are they to heavy is performance lose close to the poles ? Everyone seems to be real quite . The fact that they can be removed fairly easy and the ten footers sit so low has my curiosity ! I would really like to here about holeshot on a 20 cat with 2 10 footers ?
i really want one of these, if anyone knows of any great deals on two red ones let me know!
That boat must be real close to being delivered I looked at these a while back and couldnt find any specs on weight. I cant imagine they are much heavier than a PP when everything is factored in. Not having hydraulic fluid on a boat is a big bonus in my eyes.
There is a little loss of hole shot, but nothing to be concerned with, I have one on my 07 puma, my. Friend has 2 on his 21 legend. WELL WORTH IT!!!
Ive been considering a 10 Talon for my Sabre FTD. I got a response to some questions on BBC regarding weight and length. The overall length of the 10 Talon is 49.5″ when stowed. Of course, how high above the deck or outboard depends on the mounting height. The 10 Talon (according to a couple of owners) is 30+ lbs. Minn Kota doesnt list weight in specs., or at least I couldnt find it.FAQ on Minn Kota site.http://www.minnkotamotors.com/products/ … talon.aspxWhat is the overall length of Talon shallow water anchor when stowed?6 Talon is 45″8 Talon is 57″10 Talon is 49.5″12 Talon is 57.5″

Here is a link to my facebook with a couple of 12s installed on a Triton. These were sold and shipped to the customer and self installed. As you can see, he got the flip brackets, jackplate mounts and black/black 12 Talons. You can sorta see the height of the 12 over the outboard, then remember, the 10 is 9″ shorter. Hope this helps some of the questions, and if i can help with the Talons, give me a call.Johnhttps://www.facebook.com/JonesTrollingM … =1&theaterJones Trolling Motor Services870 773 3474Motorguide/MinnKota/PowerPole/Lowrance/Humminbird
