My new 2 me Sabre and I are getting acquainted, I bought the boat late last year and had to winterize it with barely a day on the water, that was a tough winter wait., So with the weather breaking and the season gearing up here in Pittsburgh, PA area I was jazzed to get some work in on her.I thought Pro Series1 24 Crank that the previous owner had was a bit undersized for the 175, two birds, radio and single power pole on it so I upgraded to a Diehard Platinum 31, I was thankful for owning a small chain hoist, as that is a beast of a battery for one person to install. With my new crank done, I would really like to understand my boats electrical system / options a bit better. Its my first Bass Boat so I am a bit puzzled on some things and I admit in advance my electrical knowledge is very limited so ANY advice / help is appreciated.Ive seen/ experienced some things that generated some questions below:1) The single power pole I have is a direct connect to the battery, I disconnected it (till needed) as I didnt like the thought of a constant drain on my Battery, Has anyone installed an on / off switch between the PP motor and Battery? Is this something that can be done by someone with limited electrical background? I need to keep this easy as I do have to lower to get in / out f my garage so its an every trip on/ off need. 2) I was surprised to learn that my 12 volt accessory outlet on my dash was live even when my accessories power button was OFF? Is that normal?3) Is there a master off in BassCats. If not have owners installed one. 4) I noted that my trolling motor is also always live,? Is that normal? no master switch? or do you just unplug yours? Do the MKs have any trickle drain to worry about?5) It looks like I have a 25Amp reset at the Battery. I am assuming that covers all boat electronics except the charer, Powerpole and trollng motor (correct?) as the only other 3 fuses I see are 1) from the Powerpole, 1) from the Noco charger and ) onthe trolling batteries. Am i possibly missing any more, to what extent should I be concerned with these three with fuses, other then having a spare fuse available.Im really appreciative of this board and hope to be able to help others one day.If anyone lives in the SW PA area and wants to go fishing please drop me a DM Id enjoy meeting some other cat owners up here.Dave
