Rudy You just picked up an AWESOME boat. I purchased the same boat 1 Sept 07 (Mine has a XR6) and have had a great time learning to drive and fish this machine. The driving part was the most challeging because I came out of a 17 foot with a 115hp on it. Just like BCB said, seat time is the best thing for you right now. I am getting 65 GPS and it may have a little more, we will see soon. I will have it out a lake that is wide open in a couple of weeks. These darn holidays are getting in the way of my fishing. Also loading is tricky at first, remember that your keel is not in the center of the nose of the top cap. I line up the front light recepticle with the rollor and it loads straight on just take it easy when loading. I also suggest getting the modified keel rollors from BCB so that you do not scrap the keel while loading, if they are not already installed. I learn new stuff about mine each time I take it out. Good luck and tightlines. ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
