My brother Dave Moore has taken the plunge and purchased a 1998 BassCat Jaguar. This is a very impressive boat. You have to see a Jag to appreciate all the storage. I got a chance to meet him today to take pics. Lets all welcome him to the BassCat family. He goes by dmoore58. He been searching the past 2 weeks and finally found his dream boat. Excuse the many pics but this is one very well preserved boat. BassCat you were way ahead of your time with the Super Dash console. Man that is cool technology to say the least. Congrats Bro ! Very nice looking cat. Congrats and tell your brother welcome to the Family. The original Jag is an awesome boat. I recommend purchasing a new steering wheel for your brother as a Christmas gift. It really dresses up the console.

Great idea on the Steering Wheel. Although, it will have to take a second to the 798 and 778 he plans to have installed.

Been fishing out of a lot of different things these past 20 years but this is by far the nicest. This Jag has a ride to die for. That 225 yamaha isnt hard to take neither. Damn I flat love it

I already know Im going to love this thing. My brother is on his second one now and I have fished out of his quite a bit. But, that doesnt mean Im not amazed. This thing has a trolling motor that self deploys and stows at the touch of a button. I dont mean power assist. I mean totally puts in the water and takes it out and stows it without me doing a thing. Dont know where I was is 1998 but I never seen that coming. My lost boat I barely had room for a Thermos. Now, I can darn near take the neighbors and their kids. Im still awe struck. Found it on Craigslist and had to drive 600 miles to get her. I think shes worth it
