New boat order coming

I am ordering a Cougar A/E w/ a 250 proXS. I chose a Fury prop not having a better opinion to go with other than my own guess. Do you guys recommend this? I just sold my 03 Cougar FTD and am wondering if I will notice any difference in the hulls, if there is any. I may wait until June 1st to push it through for a better price, but it is on its way. Hopefully I will be able to pull it up on the new facebook application you have set up for us… I have grown to appreciate the layout of my previous boat and couldnt make the switch to the other “premium” models, though I was offered a very good deal to drive one. Ill just drive the “inferior” A/E and love it. Feedback on the prop and hull design would be appreciated! Thanks

Same layout, but I hear a different hull design? Wondering what the effects are of the hull change.

Here goes, New Southco Latches, Wider bottom, more stable, faster, safer, incredible ability to do a Breach Turn (ask Ivan what he did to me!!!!), and better seats, better dash layout with the key switch and LED flashlight, you should be able to get into the LOW 80s if you want, are you adding a Hydraulic jack plate? What about colors??? Brannon

Southco latches are an option on CAE models, though many do order them. BCB

Maybe I need Southco latches? Open to feedback on that. Brannon, no hydrolic jack plate, but have some nice extras like a power pole, extra battery for 36v TM, 2X 788s and a 998 Hummingbird, stereo with seat speakers (for fall football games mostly), extra bilge, breaking tongue, etc… Colors will be black boot, charcol hull, silver cap, malibu silver bolt, silver trim and fenders.

Just a thought, have you considered a Puma in Advantage Elite equipment in the Loyalty package? You would still have to spec the Southco Latches, though you would get a Puma also. BCB

Ha! ^^^ If you knew the amount of consideration I have made to each option and model, you might call me crazy! I spoke with Rick the afternoon and I have the right boat for me, just need to upgrade to the Southco latches. Thanks to Rick for taking the time to help me make sure of my decisions.
