Age of the bunks is in no way telling of how the bunks hold up. I had to change the bunks on my 01 Pantera 3 only about 3 years ago only because the carpet was in bad shape. The boards were probably usable again but I changed them because they were 14 years old. I also chipped away any rust and re-primed and painted the mounting pads on the trailer.
