new cat owner question on the trailer

New to this forum. Firstly Im overly extatic on ordering my new Cat. Im hoping it goes into production in a few days because the wait until May is kiling me. Barr none every single time I read from a cat owner all I hear is how its the greatest boat built so Im even more stoked with that sorta talk.My question and Im sure i ll have lots. I orderd a P2, in reading the website I see the info re the pop trailer and I was told while they still make it they also now offer a torsion trailer. The pop trailer intrigued me as it appears I could hand bomb it and as a duel that is one great benefit. So my question is, who has one, can you explain the benefits and whats the durability of the trailer. Am i better to order the regular duel a pop or just go to a single axle one…My next question sorry a second one. I have a 997 going into the boat and Im wondering if anyone has mounted one in a p2 on the dash and where…thanks a pile I really appreciate itFinally thoughts on my color combothe hull is charcoal the hull insert is silver the cap is remington steel the cap insert is charcoal the trim is sand and the boot is blackthe carpet is storm the seat stone the seat insert is charcoal and the trim is thatch

On the trailer and POP axles, you can go single axle, older style spring axles with POP axles assembly and also the standard tandem and use Go Jacks. The choice is yours. That might be confusing you some, though there is nothing wrong with the spring trailers and BCB Preferred those. The only reason spring axles were left was a move by the spring company to produce in China and no longer was it a USA spring (from Miami, OK). The Go Jacks others can comment on, though this choice is yours. The 997 is a RAM mount item on the center of the console and it is not an issue. It looks good there on the RAM mount and the console was designed with a pocket for the mount. Colors can drive you crazy, and how long you intend to keep it is the decision on whether to go main stream or personal preference. BCB

thanks a ton after speaking with someone there at BCB ( super friendly guy also) and some other convos I decided to go with the new trailer as oposed to the old spring style…bcb I cant find a picture of the helm at all. Can you post one of the pocket on my console.

There is a picture here on the BCB website of a 997 mounted on a Cougar Advantage Dash with a Ram mount. I think the Cougar Adv. dash is the same as the PII. Its in the section of the website that shows the pictures and the features of each BCB model. Just click on Cougar Advantage Elite.

I looked at it, now thats sweet!! Wont impede the wheel or either trim levers too.Wonder how much more that cougar is then my p2…
