If you only have two wires, you wont have any control over the halo light by itself. Either the two wires have power/ground, or they have nothing. Theres no “halo-only” way without a third wire. I would imagine the things are wired so that the halo is connected to the +/- wires, but thats all, until you press the button. Then power is routed to the light AND the halo. I cant see any other way it could work with just two wires, unless BassCat is shipping digital data down the power wires, which is way unlikely and expensive.2008 Pantera Classic2014 Mercury Pro XS 200
