Just curious which of the three new ratcheting style covers would be best from a distance trailering perspective? Trying to decide on right cover. Will only be used for long distance trailering as boat will not be covered in storage or local fishing excursions. Thanks for any inputs.
The best for trailering is the Sunbrella Supreme material.

I have the Sunbrella Supreme and its all that and a bag of chips. Keeps, tight and looks just like I put it on after 40 mile two way trip driving 65 mph on non-interstate highways. If you can afford it pull the trigger. You wont regret it.
I pulled my Puma FTD 6 hrs one way 70-80 mph and no scuffing, no burns, nothing with the Aurora Sunbrella cover. Ive had the boat and cover for over 6 months and never trailered before unless necessary. Now it doesnt get out of the garage without it. Best cover on the market……..period! And the best part is it only takes minutes to put it on or take it off!
I have an 07 puma with deans cover, with the straps all the way around, and has the rope ratchet. I have hauled from Ohio to Charlotte, NC,. And everywhere else. No chaffing on poliflake , It has kept my boat bone dry in a downpour and all night toad soakers! I am not sure what it is made of but I am 110% happy with it. It has separate engine cover for the Etec . While going down the highway it kinda sucks down tight against the boat. Doesnt balloon out like some covers I have used before! Maybe these guys know what it is made with,. Black cover, white felty bottom
Thanks to everyone for their inputs. Once its time to make the decision I think I will spend the extra bucks to get the sunbrella supreme version.

I bought a Deans cover for my boat and have been hesitant to pull with it on because guys have commented on the road rash they see caused by trailering with the cover on. I just bought my boat before Christmas and they are so pretty, I hated to mess it up. I think I will go ahead and give it a try.
You do have to watch the Aqualon (acrylic) styles of covers on road wear. If they flap and move they can chafe the hull and deck. BCB
I see where Deans has a Aqualon and a Weathermax cover. I believe mine is the Weathermax which Dean advertises as a solution dyed polyester. I do not know the difference. Do you think this one would be OK to pull with?
The areas against the boat should have a polyester felt type backing which prevents chafing. The chafing occurs when the acrylic covers contact the gel coat and they flap or move when trailering. We are not big fans of most acrylic covers for towing.
