Duckett MicroMagic 76″ Hvy. Its light enough to use all day without fatigue. Only thing I dont like – microguides sing pretty good with heavy powerpro running thru them.
Denali rods is making a real good stick. I abused it last year without any breakage. Even had hooksets that slapped back into cypress tree limbs. And Scott (owner) was an employee at BCB.
I would give Powell a real hard look.I have been using them for about 4 years and they are great.Im not real familiar with the loomis rod you are using.but would be glad to help if I can.also kieth the owner of Powell is very knowledgeable and can help to find you exactly what your looking for.All my max rods and endurance rods are very light weight to me.I do a lot of dock flippin and have really put them to the test.
