As far as trim, you want to trim it all the way down for hole shot… then once on plane start trimming it up a little at a time, just bumping it for a second or two, until it “feels right”Get out on the water, and just start riding around trimming up until you find a sweet spot in the ride. It will take a little time but you will get use to it, and be able to feel it even with out the trim tab (my Sabre doesnt have one). It took me a few trips to get it figured out but, what they say is true, you will learn to feel the sweet spot, where she rides best… THEN look at your trim gauge for reference, and youll know to trim to about that spot every time. But I bet once you get use to it, you wont even use the gauge anymore. For me, I crank her down, let her plane, and get up to about 3800/4000 rpm… then start trimming up until she is riding up high and smooth. RPMS usually run ~4800 and 50-54mph. Thats where Ive found my sabre rides REALLY smooth. (150 Merc)If your boat is equipped with the pump out then, I think that it just pumps out, no drain. My switch says “empty” and “auto.” No pump out for me. Just switch to empty and she all runs out.Last edited by polaris425 on October 14th, 2013, 1:11 pm, edited 1 time in total.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods
