Has anyone had the oppurtunity to try one of the new props out by Mercury? A friend of mine said it was called the ” fusion” but all I could find on Mercs website was a prop called the “fury”. Has anybody tried one of these???? Thanks Keith Reed
Ive read a few good reports on the “Fury”. The only downside Ive read is they only make em in a 24,25, and 26 pitch right now. Ive not heard anything about the “fusion”?
I bought a 24P Fury and ran it a couple of times.Holeshot is pretty good but I have to work on the PVS.I ran it on a 175 optimax with a Ranger 185.Turned 5800 [url=mailto:rpms@64.9]rpms@64.9[/url] mph.Also ran a 25P,holeshot was the same.Couldnt get a good speed run due to boat traffic.My best run was [url=mailto:64.11@5600]64.11@5600[/url] rpms.Compared to the tempest it had better lift and mid range.Very close in top speed on my application.Some others have reported 2 to 3 mph increase at the same rpm as a similar pitched Tempest.
