new mercury tm lowerunit

i know Mercury has a all new 2013 tm lowerunit. its “post to be about 2 mph faster the the old style” from what i have read on other forms. i was just wondering how they are running on basscats, and if there are any gains with the new style. i saw that on the last gray puma on facebook had the new tm lowerunit.

The gear case went into production about two weeks ago and is only now hitting the field. We tested it here in the late summer and found it to be pretty consistent and perhaps a tinge of performance enhanced. The production cases have not been tested by BCB as it is the show season and we have not had a chance. Based on our testing several months ago we dont think most will notice a difference.
