Thank you guys for all your advice, I guess I jumped the gun on raising the plate, but I took it out and it ran about the same, so I guess I may leave it there for the next few trips and just see if I can get use to it before adjusting back down to flush, one last question, I just got the motor broke in on the initial two hours, and I can’t hold it wide open for the time being, so these next 8 I’m not really so worried about going wide open for more than five minutes, but something that brought concern to me, was when I crank the engine and it fires, there is a big puff of smoke, it runs fine, idles great, and I don’t notice anymore smoke, only when I crank it, and it does have me concerned
