New Basscat boat owner and new member here. Picking up my new 2023 Puma STS with 250 Mercury ProXS later this week. Can’t wait.
I’ve been a very satisfied ChampioN owner since 2005 (198/225 opti) but engine problems have finally become too much to bear. I’ve always known that Basscat was my next boat, and I’m saddened and absolutely thrilled all at the same time.
I will have Garmin TM and electronics (not livescope….yet), Bob’s hydraulic plate, Power Pole Charge, Pro Guide lithiums…….all stuff new to me!
My first question is, and I’m sure the info is here somewhere already, what does Basscat Boats recommend as a “sealant” for a brand new boat’s gel coat? Im thinking ProTec, but want to be sure I do this right from the start.
