I have purchases a 2023 Bass Cat Puma STS. I was looking at the front deck, and there is no place to put pliers, scissors, ect… There is a small opening next to the trolling motor pedal that has a rubber strap in the space. I call Bass Cat and I was told that small opening is for buoy markers. I don’t use Buoy markers. Has anyone every figured out a way to add tool storage on the front deck?
The factory worked on a tool holder for that area, though it was scrapped for reasons of rough water. The tool holder are the two plates as you step to the front deck. The foam insert plates restrain the tools in that area.
I added this plastic holder to my classic. Screwed to fiberglass. I think it’s miller marine products, but there’s lots like it out there on the inter web. I like being able to use the bungee to hold down a marker and my pliars.
