Well after much pushing and pulling I finished up with the steering cabble install and have had it on the water a couple times now. I let the old cable get bad enough that I could not safely drive the boat WOT. I can now and did a couple of GPS runs to see if the ol girl still had some spunk….. Wow the new cable has made the Sabre a blast to run again and with 2 people (200 lbs each), full fuel tank, empty livewell, 96 degrees, 98% humidity, and no wind I was able to run her up to 64.9 mph, 5700 RPM with a 24 P Fury. Was more than happy with the speed with that load and conditions. Thanks to all for the suggestions on the install and Bass Cat.Elwood…..Bass Cat Proud
