Recently bought my 2nd Cat, a 2015 Caracal, and sold my first, a 2003 P4 I had owned for 10 years. Settled in on the Caracal model as I spend a great deal of my time now fishing with my 12 and 10 year old boys, and the wide front deck was very appealing. Got the boat through Scott Brech at Brech Marine in Alabama. Long drive but worth it. Scott was a great guy to work with, would recommend anyone looking for a Cat to give him a call. This is my first boat with a Yamaha, and my first with a hydraulic plate. Getting used to having two different height adjustments and double the possibilities on setup. I will say that Yammy is a beast out of the hole!I will likely be back on the board with 6000 questions and maybe some commentary on the new rig. In some ways its very similar to the P4 and in others pretty different.
