Hello I recently purchased an 06 puma witch i love by the way.I am planning on fishing the bfl next season and was wondering if bascat gives extra money for winning one kinda like ranger and phenix do? Also how do u post pics on this site
Go to the Que$t logo onthe Home page or in the links above, below the banner. Yes they do and they are enhancing it in 2016 with BFL nod Bass Champs to the highest finishing Bass Cat inside the Top 20. Note to You though: a 2006 model year boat is ONLY eligible for any incentive money with Bass Cat. There is a $100 Lifetime Warranty transfer and Quest fee that you will have to pay and be registered. No other boat company we know of pays incentive dollars on a boat the age of your 2006 Puma. So your in a better spot than if you had purchased a 2006 in those brands. The program also has a Collegiate program and in 2016 they are offering a High School Scholarship program for youth and young adults who do, and can not, own their own boats. The only program like this in the business we know of!Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on September 13th, 2015, 1:21 pm, edited 1 time in total.
So,say I win one what does it pay
http://www.basscat.com/questmain.htmlThe guidelines are contained within this section and yes they are lengthy. There are many facets covered that have evolved out of these two decades in Quest. The guidelines are adhered to and you can also sanction your own fruitjar or jackpot events within the regs. There is no one answer because of the boat count guidelines. You will also have to adhere to the regs as they have a zero tolerance policy to those who wait 45 days and those who dont sign up prior. Then they Split Decision for team events where both Parties own a Bass Cat, and a non Boater CoAngler setion too. Its amazing the complications presented and those who simply dont follow these guidelines and there has not been once instance challeneged within these guidelines without those being covered.
I hope it just paid if a bfl was won this year. Ive read the Quest program until I got a headache and still dont understand how it works. I fished 3 bfls this year and got a check in 2. Best finish was 4th. My boat is a 14 model. Would I have won anything from Quest?
Sorry to hijack your thread Bassmaster47, just trying to figure Quest out also.
There are no payouts on placement before 2016 unless events are won. The previous guidelines were highlighted for those major events on the .com Quest page. We know Quest has many aspects and everyone asks, including many of those inside BCB once wondered, why it has to be so complex. After dealing with all of the why not, doesnt, does it, coulda, woulda, shoulda questions everyone who handls Quest realizes it covers way, Way WAY more than any other program and offers a tremendous amount of opportunity for those that desire to qualify their events and themselves. Last year (2015 model) Quest paid out in excess of $20,000.00 to owners of boats older than 3 years. Cash money that no other program would have given those owners. That was often smaller in $250, $375 and $500 increments that take several wins to total up.
Another topic worth discussing with Quest is its ability to cover your local events, your large club events, various charity events, the 3-4 hour evening fruit jar or jackpot events. You could literally cover most any conventional tournament event with Quest, if those guidelines are followed. No other program gives OU that versatility, and without a restriction on boat age.People commonly want Quest to be simple and to cover all model years it has to be well described and monitored. There isnt an annual fee and new boats have not ever been charged a participation fee as long as the boat is owned. We are not using new Bass Cat, or Yar-Craft, owners monies to payout, cover administration or profit from like other companies. If you want simple, then you can go buy a new competitors retail boat every two years or so, and pay the annual fees of varying amounts up between $50 to $500 annually, and keep a new one in the garage. Then replace it within two years to just stay qualified for incentives you may never win. In the case if Quest we realize our retail boat owners generally keep those new boats up to 15 years in most cases and we do not want to penalize the customer that made us what we are as a company. Which we would do by using these family dollars as many do, as the sacrifice in paying those who compete in more major events and want gross dollars for accomplishments any the event. We offer it both ways with most programs met and some at a different level. Its not smoke and mirrors using your money to promote. Quest is a real true program with teeth for our sincere owners and those who choose to buy a used boat and can not swing a new oat purchase, who would not ever be covered elsewhere. Please dont take this as a defensive post, though we know many people have numerous questions about Quest and keeping the entire production of boats covered is possible as its written. It could outspend every promotion out there grossly if you guys all qualified everything. For us that would be great as everyone would then know the value of owning a Bass Cat, or Yar-Craft and we would be very busy!Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on September 13th, 2015, 2:46 pm, edited 2 times in total.
