Hello all, well after a long hard search i finally found a cat and could not be happier. I got a 2008 puma and wanna put some power poles on it. I have 2 pro series 8 foot power poles i kept from my old boat and am gonna install them but need to know what exactly i should do first. The boat has a 6 inch slide master jackplate i have brackets already but they are not gonna work for sure they were off my cobra (very similar to a legend for those who havent heard of cobra) and the brackets i have are pk s-0-3-s. so i need to know first before i buy new brackets is this the best size jackplate for this boat. hydraulic jack plate would be nice but i just dont think i can justify spending the money on one. manuals are cheaper and deffinetly would buy a bigger one if it is gonna help the boat preform better So just looking for a little input on what i should do like i said i just dont wanna buy the brackets i need for this jack plate and then down the road come to find out there is a larger or better jack plate that will make my boat preform better.
