Hey Guys, I just spoke to a very nice guy from Louisiana on one of my Used 2008 Cougar ftds….He is inquiring about who gives the best rates and terms for Marine Financing? He has a good relationship with his Credit Union,yet wants the long terms that Marine Financing Offers…..He will see this post so let er rip boys……..Brannon H.O. Man….Your Signature …

Checked Friday – quoted 5% for seven years at local credit union. They wont finance longer. Last I checked longer terms for marine financing were in the 8% range or more.

USAA was the best option I could find for financing my used 07 Puma.

The local credit union will normally have a slightly lower interest rate then most dealers can provide through marine retail financing; however, marine financing will normally extend the length of the terms, thus giving the customer lower payments. What I tell my customer is to figure out which type of financing will work for their budget and go with it. If we can help with the marine financing, please dont hesitate to ask.
