Been a while sense I have done any fishing but had a chance to do a little guided trip today and could not turn it down. Did not hurt that this customer had a Bass Cat and figured I would make a little post about our day. Got to the lake about 8:00 this morning and could not have asked for a nicer day. After lauching the boat we made a long run to one of my favorite spots this time of year. Was not there long and caught the first fish of the day a nice 3 pound smallie and it was on for the rest of the day. Before we left the first spot, best 5 went about 15 pounds. Went to my second spot and did not leave it for about 4 hours. Guess we caught about 50 bass today with our best 10 weighing some where between 35 or 40 pounds. No really big fish but several 3 to 5 pound ones. Anyway, sure felt good to get out again !!!
You needed a day off , glad it turned out so nice and the fish cooperated also, just dont get any better than that.Last edited by SAMRUSH on March 19th, 2010, 3:44 am, edited 1 time in total.BAYOU BANDIT

You are right Sam and that is him in the boat. Would not let me take any pictures of him holding the fish. Told me it was one of the best days he had ever had on the water though.
Joey, You need to be careful with this guide stuff on navigational waterways, unless you have a license. Ive been told the C/G is starting to crack down on this. Im just sayinWhitten
Mike, if I did this all the time then yes I would get all the necessary stuff for doing this. Do not even have a boat and kind of doubt I will any time soon. Believe I could do a couple trips a month though if I was set up right. With all the customers I have from all over the country. Think if I made a couple pages on my web site. Would not be a problem at all !!Thanks and Good Luck
