Night Stalker pkg – how much light ?

Wondering how much light is output with a night stalker pkg compared to a conventional plug in light? Id sure like to get rid of my conventional plug in black light! On a P-II would the boat come with 3 lights on each side? As an option, I can order extra lights? (my eyesight isnt what is used to be lol) Thanks!FISH ON!

I have seen this package on a puma. While the lights look small when I pulled a truck 10 feet or so next to the boat it nicely and evenly lit up the entire side of a z71 chevy. That puma had the extra light. I would order it in a heartbeat with the extra light which I imagine BCB will do for you-C.O.D. Jr. III

The standard package is ample for most applications and is three (3) lights per side. The addition of more lights is possible and they are in pairs on opposing sides. They are not sold individually to add to the only side you fish out of, if you do so. Originally the staff internally was questionable as to whether the amount of light was enough, htough once used it is more than ample. Not too bright, though enough. It is very, did we say VERY, nice to not have those florescent bulbs to worry about breaking and a cord to fumble with also. BCB

Thanks BCB! Where is the switch located that turns on these lights? One thing you might want to consider offering is a switch to turn on the 1st 3 lights, and then turn on the extra lights (if outfitted that way). This might be something that the dealer could setup on the accessory switch. Im guessing these are LED lights? I agree 100% – it would be very nice to not have to worry about those plug in lights. Cords laying on the deck are an accident waiting to happen. Ive came really close to taking a unwanted bath several times due to the cord. I do a LOT of night fishing due to the high amount of boat traffic at my local lakes. Having this option will save time and effort and is a safety feature in my opinion.If and when I can afford a new boat, Ill definetely order the stalker pkg, perhaps with one or two extra lights per side.Thanks again!FISH ON!

The switch on the boat I saw used the accessory switch to turn the power on with a right and left rocker switch to determine which side was on I believe.C.O.D. Jr. III

Can this pkg be added to a boat that I already own? Or, does it have to be done while the boat is under construction?

I believe it can be added to an existing boat, but will require some drilling. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

We dont recall the cost and the little four LED lights are expensive. Though the system is not hard. You screw it into the underside of the rub rail, and drill for the wire. The wire runs into the channel where the bump molding insert fits, and then drill the center of the boat in one place for the wires to go through to the hull. The factory can also do this job if you prefer. Just get around to it before late Spring night fishing hits. BCB
