Redngoo, great to hear your findings. By your report, you must have raised the boat off the trailer, rather then unloading at the ramp. I was wondering how you safely accomplished that.
Second, does your PII have the Vinyl Ester Resin upgrade on the outer layer? I don’t believe my 15 PII does, as I purchased it out of dealer stock. I wish it did have for the added protection, as I plan on keeping the boat for a few years. I won’t even let my boat set in the water overnight, under a covered dock, when on fishing trips, because of the thought of blistering in mind. I know it’s a cost for the VE upgrade, but I see so many comments on here about how it should be based on how long you plan on owning your boat. I look at it, even if you don’t plan on keeping the boat long, what about the next owner, or the owner after that. Guess I’m looking more at the life of the boat, not the owner. Blistering wasn’t something I worried about on my older boats, but that was before the EPA got involved.
