Have a club tournament May 17th at Norfolk and havent fished there yet, since moving from Texas. My schedule isnt going to let me pre-fish, so Ill be going to Norfolk “blind”. Hoping that I could get some help from my fellow Bass Cat family. Any tips, areas or techniques would be very helpful and very much appreciated. Thanks Gary Hare

Gary, thing change very fast on Norfork this time of year. We prefer a pumpkin or salt & pepper grub worked slow for smallmouth. You can fish a swim bait on a larger head against chunk rock banks all day, or a top water over points early. The spinner bait bite is starting and the stick bait bite is softening. We like the lower end clear water or big creek area.
