I called up to get a slip there, since we will be staying at the Norfork Inn, thought it would be simple enough to just leave the boat in the water during the OI and just walk over from the motel and not have to fight the crowd.. When I called for a slip they advised they would have me one, but they didnt ask for a credit card, deposit or anything. Maybe, I am overly paroniod, having lived the last few years in the city, what has been everyones experience, you think they will have us one? I didnt want to insult them by playing twenty questions, as they seemed nice enough. Also, for those that have used the Marina or stayed at the Lake Norfork Inn, are there decent places to leave the boat trailer, so we dont have to drag it all over town? It is the first OI for us and the first time to fish that lake, so we are just trying to make things simple, put the boat in Wed and take it out Fri or Sat, so we dont have to fight the crowds at the ramps each morning.

We are staying there again this year as we did last year. Dont worry about the slip. They just put your name on the list and when you get there they assign you a slip. You can unhook your trailer and park it behind the hotel. There should be plenty of room as there was last year. You will have your choice between the back slips and the front slips. You can walk to the front slips just across the road from the hotel. The back slips are hike to get to, but I guess that location provides more shelter in case of a storm. They also have power at the slips. We will be out front with the grill, so swing by and say hi when you get settled. JasonJason Desertdweller.com Get Your Bass in the Boat!

Same thing here…staying at Norfork Inn. Called over to the Marina last month to see about a slip and took my name down then said “Well see you then.” But then again, this is Ozark hospitality….things done the old fashioned way. What kind of rates do they have at Norfork Inn? I didnt see anything on their website. Ive always stayed in town but might look into there for next year.

cannot remember for sure but very reasonable comes to mind and you cannot beat the location. Ditto to what the others have said on a slip they take your name down then assign you one when you get there. I prefer the older docks in the back of the cove as it is easier to get through the check in process as you are already on the south side of the cove versus cutting through a few boats to get there from the northTreat everyday like it might be the last

There have been some questions about fuel on the water. IF Lake Norfork Inn closes before you get petrod up, then motor across the lake to Panther Bay and they should be open there. Just another option. BCB

24/7 because they have the only pay at the pump on the lake.

Yes, though they are appx. 6 miles from Henderson.
