A big thanks to Eddy, Ivan, and the others that put in the effort to host this event. I had a blast and enjoyed yet another awesome day in the boat with my son Dan who is my tournament partner. Mille Lacs was stingy but if you “ground it out” there were some decent bags to be had. Most bags were mixed smallies and largies. Celebrate diversity! Our 5 fish limit went 13.19 lbs, good for 4th place. Our biggest fish came with 14 minutes left in the day which was rather exciting as it also completed our limit. Winning bag was 19+ lbs and comprised of 4 LM and 1 SM. This was my first tournament in my Cougar on really big water (Mille Lacs is 130,000 acres) and it is hard to describe what a treat it was to blast around the lake to our various spots in the cush ride of a Cougar. Thanks again guys for a great event. My only disappointment is that Dan and I will not be making the trip to AR in November. Maybe next year. Oh yeah, one more thing. The BassCat guys pretty much handed it to the Yarcraft boys. Jus sayin Last edited by Macsimus on August 23rd, 2014, 12:39 pm, edited 2 times in total.
