Northeast Owner’s Tournament Update

Well after looking at what is already going on on Champlain this summer and my own work and play schedule, I have to give up on the idea of doing something this year. I do run a charity team tournament on August 9th out of Malletts Bay that is a Quest Event. We pay out darn near 100% with smallmouth and largemouth lunkers and a junior division. All the details are at http://www.twinstatebassin.com. We do an event t shirt and a goodie bag to the first 50 boats registered. The lake fishes really well this time of year and all the proceeds go to Lake Champlain Internationals next generation fund which supports youth-related fishing projects. Cant make in up in August but Ill be up at the lake the second week in May and again in June . I alsway stay in South Alburg and Henrys Cabins . Just look for a Blue Puma with a guy and a dog

There will be a couple more cats staying on the other side of the Alburg passage in June. Maybe Ill run into Tom and the rest of the Nj crew fishing the opening to the cause way this year. The smallie fishing up there in June the past couple of years has been great compared to prior years.

Yeah Chuck Ill be dropshotting the causway at least a couple of times a day its alwyas good for a few pig smallmouth . Ill be up the week of the 14th in June

Ill be arriving Saturday the 13th myself. The past couple of years there have been some pig smallies in 10 of water off the beach to the right when facing Lamottes Isle.

Ill keep you posted. Ill mostly be fishing the inland sea from top to bottom and the Isle Lamotte area. Lots of water to cover.

Maybe I will see you around. Looks like my Cougar has the same paint job as your sweet looking Cat. You will find most fish are spawned out in the Inland Sea. Chuck Ill keep an eye out for you next week when Im up at the lake . Just look for the blue puma and the dog on the back deck . It looks like the lake is lower than normal for this time year .
