Let me start off by saying basscat has been amazing in customer service. I bought a 2018 basscat lynx with 300 verado pro 4 stroke in November 2019 from the boat shop in San Antonio. Less than a year. I have roughly 138 hours on my boat. I have a large crack forming in the battery compartment. Actually 3 are showing up but one is pretty bad. Basscat has said they will pay for repairs and that is amazing. The past two days I have had to troll 2 hours back to ramp because my engine wouldn’t start and just clicks. I took my x2 power battery up to 2 separate locations to be informed battery is perfect. Now I’m stuck trying to find out what the heck is up with this boat. I couldn’t run my ulrex on anything past 8 speed or if constant on it will randomly shut off and reset and then will do it all over again. My power poles reservoirs both leak fluid plus they don’t return without having to push button multiple times and that drives me nuts. I would say I’m a clean freak and wash my boat and wax it after every trip. my boat is stored in my garage. I don’t abuse my boat but I do use it at least once a week. I can keep going. my vents on the gas tanks leak. Basscat was also amazing and sent me replacements but they still leak. I had them installed when I had the 100 hour service done. Do I just have a lemon boat or what. I live in central texas so I really can’t take my boat to the dealer. Basscat has worked with me to get it to Killeen for the fiberglass issues. I talked with mine Kota, hopefully I can get that resolved when I take for fiberglass work. Engine, who the hell knows when I can take that in. I would never have thought a 65k boat would be this much of a headache.
Please delete post. I was angry and bass cat has gone above and beyond to help my smaller issues. I found the issue was a bad ground wire and that was issue with not starting. The other issues are being resolved and I can’t say enough about basscat customer service

You found one of the reasons it’s great owning a BCB. Customer Service.
I won’t own another boat brand. None are perfect, but it’s the customer support from BCB that beats the rest.

All the things going on in the world bring out the worst in us it seems. When one vents, that’s fine, when one bashes it’s not fine. We monitor and offer this forum for people to use and it appears many are beginning to use it again. Facebook simply does not have a tracing record for easy access on questions and thumbing through dozens of posts is cumbersome. We are glad you’ve opened the topic and we offer this resource for you.
Most of your mentioned issues are vendor issues that would have been common to any brand. We don’t know the purchase history on your boat though second hand purchases are often tied to these types issues. The original owner might be a source and if your the original owner then you do know the track record.

You should leave this for more than a few days.
His issues are what needs to be aired here and are positive since he received service which many other owners (including myself) with different brands do not receive.
I agree with vendor issues on some of his issues but 3 cracks in the fiberglass is concerning.
We have always been transparent on these issues
