Well guys I finally did it. I bought a 2005 Puma. Been on this web site almost daily for the last couple of years reading the owners forum and the boats for sale. I knew I wanted a Cat after much research and reading here on BCB. I bought Scott Gardners boat. Thank You Scott. Got to spend a good bit of time on the water with it this weedend. Very pleased, a great boat. Did have one problem the air compressor pulley bolts sheared, but was able to able to rob unvital bolts from engine to make it back to campground then bought class 10.5 bolts (grade 8 I was told) from Auto Zone and replaced them. I was aware of the substandard bolt problem and was going to check them when I got back from camping/fishing. It will take a while to get use to it after moveing up from a 1988 Ranger Ive had for 19 years. Love everything about the boat. One problem I can forsee is the 26 Trophy getting the boat on the trailer at steep ramp (real steep) that I use alot on a local lake during winter draw down. Sounds like a 25 Fury may be the ticket, what differences can I expect in performance? Enough for now, I likely have more questions in the future. Thanks BCB for a great boat. Lamar
