Now What (busted hull)

I didnt even realize it was busted, cracked, gouged or whatever. My bilge pump hose had slid off and I just figured it never bilged so thats where the water came from when I loaded her up after my tourney. Went back this morning and obviously figured out what was going on. Theres a 6-8 crack with 1/4 over bite that dead center of the hull. Not savy with the uploading pics her yet but I will later. I am not sure when it happened but there wasnt a concerning thud or pop. Well i wanna know if you guys have any suggestions before I call my agent. Its a 99 Pantera III with 200 Opti (485 hrs 323 put on it since March of 08 when i got it). I was looking to buy another boat but had decided to keep this one and once the fall swimbait bait was over I would take it and have it restored to 100%. …..Now what??thanks Ryan

Ryan, E-mail [email protected] your images of your hull and they will be gald to give you an opinion on what direction to take. 383 hours since March of 2008 is some serious time too.

Yes sir i have been trying to put in the time that I lost (9 yrs) trying to make someone else happy…ya know. This boat is testament everything BassCat STANDS for imho. I will get some pics any kind particular that I could take them to help other than what i send just let me know.

My insurance (progressive) guy is coming to look at the boat in the morning. I am scheduled to take it to Monticello, Ark after that. This guy (Harrison) is supposed to be top notch. Other than that what not sure what information you are interested in.

You should contact BCB direct and get their input on the repair and an approved BCB repair facility. Since we assume you mention you sent digitals to BCB they have issued an opinion to you. If not then you should be sure they make an opinion. BCB

I havent mentioned that to insurance reps. I did however mention to the fellow that has my boat. He recommended more work be done and another rep is supposed to be headed to Monticello to check it out. He sounded honest, trustworthy, and did come recommended, but he didnt plan to do what I was told was needed to be done for it to be 100% right. Aasdfajs;fjf;asj;asfjI will see what he and the adjuster come up with and make a decision soon after. Meanwhile work continues on the old blue 94 40HP Merc on 16ft 83 Duracraft. Not sure Ill be fishing Texoma, Red River, or Rayburn out of but I will!!!!

“but he didnt plan to do what I was told was needed to be done for it to be 100% right”That is why you should always use a BCB recommended repair facility. I know some have used this facility to repair BCBs, but all mine go to “the hill”, and one of BCBs own. Hope it all works out well for you. D.
