My son and I are from Nova Scotia and have just purchased our first bass cat, a 2008 Puma out of Florida from our new friend Andy. We are very excited and would like to thank the people at Bass Cat for their help in locating the right boat for us. Also the owners who have shared their experiences on this forum. The only bad thing is that we drove about 4,000 mile round trip and never got a chancel to fish before we put the boat away until late April. I was wondering if there are any other owners in eastern Canada?

Hi Gerrry im in montreal , and i know there is a couple of basscat around here and i do own one a 2010 sabre ftd !

Hi MartyI also know there are some in Ontario as they were at the B1 last year. Is there a bass Cat dealer there in Montreal ? Did you get your boat in the states?

yes there is a dealer near montreal Maple grove Marine but bought mine new in 2010 from upper canada marine in ontario witch was they only dealer in canada at the time!

Hi GerryIm another Bass Cat owner up around the Ottawa area.Ive had my 07 Puma, bought from a lad in N.Y. State. Can you say that I am quite happy with it.Wouldnt have anything else. Got the ride of a Ferrarri.Have a Merry Christmas.Brian Harrington

Hi Brian and ScottThanks for your replies. I will check out the Canadian site. The bass fishing is starting to catch on here in Nova Scotia our small mouth can run in the 4 to 5 lb range on the perfect day but most days we are happy with a 3lb fish. We fish from April to November if the weather lets us. We are all counting the days to our first trip in 2012.
