Turning 45 on Sunday. Can I be a member of OFG now or do I still have to wait. I think 50 was the number, but not sure.

I was kind of hoping you had to be at least 60 to be a member. I am closing in on 50 and not sure I want to be a member !

earp64, I am getting to the point where I need a lot more than clothes. Would be nice to get about 20 years or so back. Not going to happen, but am very happy where I am at. Sure Sam will be along soon with a decision. Sure it will be in your favor. Tight lines………. pant 2 Bob

WYATT, I actually lived in Tyler, started with Continental Can in 64, which is now Smurfit out on the I20. Left in 68 transferred to Martinsville, Va. I always said when I left that East Texas was Gods country and I would come back and retire there, never made it. Best fishing Ive ever experienced, could drive 50 miles any direction and have as good a fishing hole you ever wanted. Lake Tyler was just awesome back then. I guess Im telling you this to let you know youre in Gods Country- ENJOY!!!BAYOU BANDIT

Sam,Glad you had the opportunity to live in this wonderful area. You are right, its amazing of all the lakes we have to choose from within a short distance. I live 9 miles from Lake Tyler, still a good lake, till they kill off the grass, and I fish it alot, especially at night. Im 17 miles from Lake Palenstine & 47 milles from “AWSOME” Lake Fork, which is my favorite. We have 3 power plant lakes that get beat up through the winter from all the clubs, local (East Texas) & metro (Dallas & Shreveport). Im one of those that beat it up also, so Im not complaining, just glad we have them. Plus, we have so many more lakes, cant mention them all. If your ever in the area give me a shout and well go wet a line. Wyatt
