Hello Guys:I sold my 2009 Bass Cat Puma FTD to a very nice guy from Florida who is scheduled to pick the boat up next week. I am ready to order my new Puma on Tuesday. Please help me a little with color choices. I loved the red, white and blue boat that I had, but I am thinking of changing it up a little for the next one. What do you guys think about Silver sides and top with a blueberry lightening bolt and fire red pin stripes? I think I will add an additional blue or red small lightning bolt and change the console color to blueberry as well for more contrast. I will make the fenders blueberry as well. I think I will stay with the hunninbirds, Mercury, Detwiler, and Motorguide. Corky

The boats on the youtube video over in Japan or wherever it was of the Eyra and the Jag where pretty cool colors ,just my 2 cents if you like red .

Granted i own silver with remington and an evinrude but…. the red blue combos clearly take longer to sell. If your gonna turn another one Corky Id stick with black or white not blue. Maybe malibu blue. keepin it and repowering get whatever youd like. But if youre gonna turn one you gotta get what someone else likes.C.O.D. Jr. III

You can never go wrong with Blue on a boat, next choices black, silver, white.

How long are you going to keep it? Blue and red colored boats sell the best(IMO)

I will probably keep her one or two years. I really love these Bass Cat boats. I was looking at the Lowrance Side Imaging and they look pretty good, though I have been very happy with the Humminbirds. The one that I just sold went pretty quickly. I had little interest the first month, but about four weeks ago I received several calls on the boat. Two weeks ago, four guys wanted it all at the same time. After the buyer and I had a verbal agreement on the price, another guy called to offer me more money for the boat, but I already agreed on the price. Corky

My Jag is Silver sides, Blueberry bolt and top cap. No red though.

That would be mine. If I were to rebuild, I would some how incorporate some dark grey color in the paint scheme. There have been several white, silver and grey colored boats that I thought were very clean and classy looking.britt

I was one of those four folks, Corky – beautiful boat you had. In the end, I ended up finding a really nice 2010 through a private sale. Return to Fort Hood in a couple weeks; cant wait to pick it up! Good luck with your new Puma. Jon
