They wont set the dates for a few months yet. The lodging and weighin is all set tentatively for State Park area.

Or you can boat in from other locations. It is a one takeoff event and regulated times in and out.

The state park is a nice ramp but for locals it is our of the way. Launching and motoring over beats driving all the way around to the state park.

There are 25 places generally paid out and 25 Wild Card positions total that pay out. The boats are drawn for the Cougar FTD and 250 Pro XS rig and the Margay is the First Place boat and trailer. There is one 150 Pro XS that is a Duck award on a Rubber Duck for Day Two, or Day One if the 2 ducks on Day Two are not found. There are tons of other prizes, a solid goody bag of about $40,000 to 50,000 in Strike King products, Humminbird depth finders, Lews Rods, ProTec kits, Power Pole certificates and more.This is a payout of almost 300% when all prize packages are realized. I am coming, but had not planned on fishing (I havent fished in a tournament in 20+ years now). However, it seem we are going to be delayed in arriving until sometime noonish on Friday. Right front wheel bearing on my truck started making a noise. Have a complete bearing/hub assembly on order, expecting it possibly Thursday but most likely Friday AM. Son and I are staying in the state park campground (tent) as we usually do up there. Hopefully will be able to stop by weigh-in on Friday afternoon.I suspect the water temps are right at 70-71, as that is where the Coosa was the last time we went down this past weekend. Be interesting to see how many sit on the bridges. 2008 Pantera Classic2014 Mercury Pro XS 200
