Lake maps are available at Harps, WalMart, Big Red Tackle (Lakeview) and several of the bait sections of convenience stores around the lake. Once you get to Mountain Home several of the veteran Invitational participants will clue you in on when to get to the lake, where to launch and more. This will depend on your motel. Plan on making your day about 30 minutes ahead of where you think you need to be. There are several docks left at Panther Bay and Lake Norfork Marina. There are also probably a couple of slips at other locations close like 101, Tracy and Fouts. None would be too far. Dont worry about the crowd, we have done this many times and it works out fine. The most crowded areas are at take off and check in. These can and do get congested, so just be patient. Work to the pontoon boat coming in, and be ready and just out in front of the pontoon taking off. We do 80 boats in about 7 minutes on take off, thus it happens fast. Coming in you have 20 minutes, though it is still fast and packs. Bag lines will be long as we only distribute 25 bags for weigh in. Better you to stand in line than your fish to stand there with you. They can only spend about 15 to 35 seconds per team average on the weigh in the first day, and about 25 to 45 seconds on day two per team. The Wild Card pay out will be posted, and there are prizes spread through out the field. Also rubber duck prizes on each day, with an outboard engine on Day Two. Read the rules, follow the directions and you will be fine. We look forwards to seeing you there! BCB
