There have been several different reservoir issues over time with cracking molded reservoirs, lines or hoses and finally the reservoir caps. Most of this is a time issue on aging engines, which is not a large percentage of those engines out there. Literally thousands of these engine oiler styles are out there on everything from a 135 to a 225 using these same exact reservoirs and systems. There are also several thousand engines with the same operating system which has different components that function the same.
