oil reserve warning/smartcraft

05 225proxs.I have gotten an alarm twice for low oil reserve.The exact wording was RESERVE 90% remaining. It only happened at holeshot WOT. I can sneak by without the alarm sounding by easing up into plane. I havent checked the motor reserve on the water yet . First time i didnt know what it was…the second it was raining cats and dogs. I have checked it on land and then reserve is full ,cap is tight,and no signs of a leak. If you all have any ideas for me to check,Id be gratefull. Bob

if the tank on the side of the engine is full…………..lip lapping full then the sensor must be going bad.

The tanks both have sensors and they can either have alarms if they are low. On take off the oil angles towards the rear and that can also activate a sensor when you are not low under level conditions. The engine tank will have to be “lip lapping” full.

Thanks… there is about a thimble size bubble when I checked it on the ttrailer Bob
