First off let me say I LOVE MY NEW CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got her home. I left the bay area at 0245 drove to San Diego then drove back to arrive home at 9pm.Went through all the paper work but couldnt find any info on the battery charger. I know its in there I can find the cord but how do you tell if your batteries charged if you cant see the charger?I give up where di you guys hide the main power turn off or battery cutoff switch?One last thing. Give Jason or Ivan a buzz tomorrow and they will be sure your handled. The Security System they dont release details on openly. There are two masters in 2011, one is on the Aluminum Battery Tray in the bilge and has a yellow arm to throw, and the other is on the right side panel below the throttle/shifter. There should be a 110 volt cord for a 3 bank charger, and a second cord if you have a 4 battery system for cranking only added, and the three bank handles the trolling batts. The 3 bank chargers were more dependable than 4 bank.

On my 08 P II it is mounted on to the transom inside the bilge. You have to walk around to the side of the boat and look at the front side of the transom to see the lights on the charger.

Make sure you leave the rear compartment lid open ( unplug your compartment lights) when charging due to vapors, they will travel through the boat and into your rod box on the port side. You are suppose to ventilate charging batteries anyway. It will be easier on you if you run the cord from your charger through the port vent and wire tie it on the inside of the vent for future charging. Alot of people have had this problem in the past and this will help you. Good Luck with the new boat and enjoy.John

I zip tied my cords to the seat post base in the bilge. Easy to reach.

The Gasses in the bilge are the reason there is not an external 110 port, you are forced to open the lids for safety reasons.

You dont have to unplug youre lights, they will timer off and reset when the lid is closed , just an fyi.

Thanks guys. Maybe I was just too damn tired after 16 hours of driving When I drove a truck for Interstate the most you could drive by federal law is 11 hours then you had to have a mandatory 10 hours off.It was dark when I got home and the motor trim was way up so I couldnt open the door fully.
