Fellow older Classic owners with the deck extension know how big of a step it is from the floor up to the deck. The older you are the more you notice especially towards the end of the day. My good friend Jim White frabricated a neat step for me that makes a world of difference and still preserves almost all the storage space under extension which is real handy for net, co-angler gear, etc. Think it came out really nice. Now if it would warm up (we are currently looking at another ice storm watch over the next 36 hours) Ill get to try out on the water!
