Sorry the versions as stated above are based on hull characteristics not construction . None of the old school Eyra are vacuum constructed, having been retired in 2000. The technique that used wood was very sound and better than most builders back then, at least equal to some composite builders even now. Ive owned 3 of the 90s model boats, a Sabre, a PII , and the 96 Eyra now.
