Looking at a 2004 Sabre rigged with a 2004 Johnson 150. I dont know anything about these outboards and dont want to buy if its not a great outboard… Honest opinions please on the motor.Thanks,Bobby
Hey Bobby, That motor is incredible……the 2.6 liter Loop Charged v-6 is one of the best motors built……..You can make it really run if you want,dead nuts reliable,youll never have a problem with it,and the torque is killer…..call me with the serial # of it and I will run it on BRPS site to let you know what has been touched on it…..Brannon 920-295-2069Your Signature …
They really are good engines. You should watch the VRO pump and if your concerned put a tad of oil in the fuel for safety. We had one on a shop boat for staff and bought a couple used ones to piddle with.
