Leaving Triton after 11years; ordered a PII; complete but waiting on my Merc to come in (200xs); any feedback on how it will perform against triton 186 with 175hp? Really excited about the switch!!

Rick, welcome to the family brother!! Ive got about the same setup as you will have. Ive never been in a 186 Triton but you can bet youre gonna love the P II. WOT performance can be tweaked to get 76 at least that I know. Ride is great, layout is awesome , and it fishes like a 20ft boat.

Thanks fellas!!! Definately pumped about the boat. Will be the 2nd Cat in the club and I hope performance and color scheme will turn some heads!! Kudos to EKs marine in west Monroe; Has been nothing but awsome workin with em.

Rick, I came out of a Tr186 into a Sabre FTD. Night and day difference in ride. The storage is much better and usable, but the ride is so much better. Once you get the boat and run it, youll see and it will take a little bit of time to realize you can run through rougher waves and ride smoother and drier. You are going to love it, congrats!

Ive fished from a 186 with a 150 and a PII with a 200. The PII is really well laid out. The split cooler is going to spoil you this summer. The performance is different, youre not comparing apples to apples so Im not going to get into which is faster etc… I left Champion after 11 years and have not regretted the decision.The countdown begins until you “Feel The Rush”. Welcome to the Cat family!
