Owners Invitational question…

Countdown to leaving for the OI has started! Pumped about the trip! The problem is that my new Eyra has not come in and Im not real sure if it will be delivered before we leave for the trip. My partner has a Basscat as well so we will be covered. My question is do you have to be Quest registered to participate? Thanks, TD2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS

I dont think you have to be quest registered, but one or the other should be the registered owner of the boat and should be able to prove should it be necessary. Technically if the boat is 2000 model year or newer and warranty not transferred, then there is no warranty. Spend the $150 and transfer warranty and get in quest at same time. I fished the OI last year out of my 06 Classic. I did not pay the warranty transfer and was able to register. I just had to be the registered owner since my partner did not own a cat.Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk

Thanks Phil. Yeh he is the registered owner of the boat (2006 Puma) but he is not Quest registered. Just want to make sure we have everything in place before we make the haul out there…even though we would still make the trip and fish all week no matter what! So I just bought my 2nd new to me Cat in February. The other I purchased last February. What is the process to transfer the warranty? I wasnt aware that anything had to be done.
