I have a 2005 PIV with 200 Opti. Been running a 26 tempest plus with decent results. But would like to increase speed without losing overall performance. The thinner standard tempest that I had ran better than its replacement. Ive been considering trying a 25 tempest plus , fury or trophy but havent been able to find one to try before I buy. Any one have this same set up that can add any light. Im turning about 5500 rpm and GPS speed is 62 with average load.

I have a 25 fury @ 5400 ish and am thinking of dropping to a 24 for summer. I run 70 solo and 66-68 with partner and gear…. usually. Summertime slows me down, but its really hot here 100+.

Another vote for the 24 Fury, I ran it from 2400 feet above sea level to below sea level in Az. on my 09 PIV. It jumps out of the hole and runs 70 with ease at sea level.

I run a 25 Tempest on my 200 Pro XS and with 3/4 tank of gas and way too much gear plus my 205lb frame she will run 72 mph on a chilly day 70 when its warm.
