Never been in a p2..just pumas..how much room is behind the driver console?? Im tall at 6 feet 5. thanks guys

I am 6 5″ and 265lbs and I have owned 2 P2s (2008 and 2011 models) and have never had an issue behind the dash. I am not a fan of the hot foot so that may make it a little tighter. I disconnected both of mine. Hope this helps. Great riding boat and fast! Drives like a sports car and has plenty of fishing/storage room.

still leaning towards the puma for the extra length and ride…Im enjoying looking thou! Bama you bout my size matter of fact we are the exact size! I need to drop a good 40 lbs!!!

I am 6-2 240 and there is plenty of room in the seat of my 07 PII.

I am 511 and owned a PII and now a Puma. With the hotfoot you are not going to like it at all. One of my buddies drove mine with the hotfoot all the way back. He is 63″ and was not at all comfortable. He loves the Puma. Plenty of room (drastic over the PII). The PII was no problem for me at all but I am shorter. 1 issue though for a guy your size is that if I put my hot foot all the way back the pedal hits the fiberglass before WOT. I dont need it back that far but be sure to look at that if you ride in one.

Of course if you can get the Puma get the Puma but the P2 is a great all around ride.

There is also a drastic difference in fuel economy between a Puma with a 250 and a PII with a 200. It is night and day better in the PII. If Bass Cat were to make a 19er with a wider beam and a deck like the Margay I would consider going smaller. Who knows, maybe rate it for a 225…

I think a lot of the extra length that is in the Puma is in the back part of the boat. There really doesnt seem to be a drastic amount of difference on the front decks of both boats. You could also consider the P4 or Eyra which are sort of in between both…..
