I recently installed the bounce buster on my Motorguide. Obviously, after two weeks it is already leave a spot in my carpet. My carpet isnt new, but is there any tricks to prevent this?? Does anyone know of a rubber pad or anything to put under it? Where to buy one or something similar? I know Minn Kota has a plastic little plate for their kick stand product. I dont care too much but would be willing to secure some pad under it. Thanks.

My minkota on my p2 does the same thing. Though my kota has wat looks like a crutch tip on it and mounts directly under the bottom which is the top when deployed and is only about 2.5 inches.2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury

I found some plastic discs at Home Depot with self stick tape on the back. They are about 2 or 2.5 inches in diameter. I found then in the section that the carpet sliders for furniture are. They came in a pack of 4. So far they seem to be holding up well and they are cheap enough to change out every few months if needed.

No matter what,if you measure correctly when you install a bb-you get a divet in your carpet-and then it gets a little sloppy.i waited a little bit,and then screwed down the plastic disk and it fit right down in my carpet,and there is no more play in my bb.beats the heck out of adding quarters as shims!
