Hey guys, i have been doing a bunch of research on re carpeting my boat. I just recieved my carpet samples from bass cat yesterday. Looks like the blue/grey is the color i will be going with. Couple questions i have which i am sure have been covered 100000 times, just having trouble finding what i am looking for. I have heard of many horror stories about deck padding causing carpet to peel premature. Is there a certain padding that works better then others? I live in NH and fish till everything is frozen solid and as soon as there is a ramp open, im back out again. When i spoke with the guys and basscat they said to just use good carpet glue that can be purchased from home depot or lowes. Will this work with the padding as well? I also will need to purchase aluminum rivots to re rivot the carpet trim pieces back in which im told i can get at the depot as well. Would love to hear any imput/suggestions you have for me, Thanks in advance!!!!!
